Great Plains' camps in Botswana's Okavango Delta and Kenya's Mara are reached by light aircraft and bush charter—medevac to Johannesburg or Nairobi typically costs $25,000–$50,000. Pre-existing condition waivers typically require insurance purchase within 14-21 days of initial deposit. Policies should explicitly cover game drives, walking safaris, and tropical risks.
