White Desert flies guests to private camps on the Antarctic interior—a region where evacuation by ski-equipped aircraft is the only option and weather can ground flights for days. Pre-existing condition waivers typically require insurance purchase within 14-21 days of initial deposit. Coverage must extend at least 7 days beyond the return Antarctic flight.

“As soon as practicable after booking the programme you must take out adequate insurance cover for all members of your party, in respect of medical care and emergency repatriation costs, for a minimum of $500,000 (USD) per person and for a minimum of 5 days beyond your expected return date.
