Heritage Expeditions operates expeditions to some of the world's most remote regions, including Antarctica and the Subantarctic, where emergency medical evacuation can cost $250,000+. Travel insurance with pre-existing conditions waivers must typically be purchased within 14–21 days of the first trip deposit to qualify for coverage exemptions. Delaying insurance beyond this window may exclude pre-existing medical conditions entirely.
